The Injured Athletes Club

May 27, 2021

I'm struggling with which doctors to trust and how to get second opinions. I've seen at least six for the issue I am currently experiencing, which turned out to be a lot more complex than I imagined. So my question is, how much do you tell a new doctor about what previous doctors think? And how can you ensure that you get a proper diagnosis based on the evidence when you're seeing so many different providers?

This week, co-host and mental skills coach Carrie Jackson answers a question from listener Tania G. Carrie offers Tanya some guidance for navigating a complex medical system, and some ways all injured athletes can build confidence in their diagnoses and treatment plans.
